Practice Vice President - Digital (Remote, USA)

We're looking for an exceptional strategic leader with a strong ownership mindset to consistently and proactively seek ways to drive the business and operationalize new ideas and insights. Our candidate must also be a strong team leader; able to attract, develop and retain talent. The Leader will engage at all levels of the enterprise and, specifically, will be a key thought partner and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, as well as Finance, Corporate Strategy, Sales and Services.

How you'll make an impact

  • Provide leadership to direct reports and service line team, including the direct supervision, development of and accountability for the performance of the staff.
  • Oversee and/or manage all talent employment activity effectively and professionally including hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, compensation, teammate relations, disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned Optiv Services Line; including:
  • Track metrics and success criteria, including ROI for all activities.
  • Analyze current Service Line trends impacting all sales and service delivery.
  • Review, analyze and address gaps in service excellence, policies and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of talent development processes and succession planning, including mentoring, coaching and modeling appropriate leadership behaviors.
  • Manage financial and revenue growth, operations and labor management, contract management and client outcomes within the Service Line.
  • Fulfill broad reaching, strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of proactive programs, operational improvements, communications and other Service Lines-specific general management responsibilities related to all modalities (service sales, client service engagement leadership and Service Line market growth) within the assigned Service Line. This includes leading the creation and implementation, as needed, of Optiv operating strategies and engagement models within all modalities based on the identification of Best Demonstrated Practices.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats); analyze and implement effective responses.
  • Lead the business development process for Service Line -partnering with Sales and Demand to deliver expected results.
  • Develop positive work relationships with all levels of management and other departments in Optiv; work collaboratively with field management, legal, finance, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a team of knowledgeable, skilled talent members (including management) who function in compliance with all regulatory requirements and the Optiv mission and values.
  • Travel required: 50%.

What we're hiring for

  • Strong alignment with our Mission and Values.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Deep prior experience in management consulting, professional services leadership, technology sales, and technology implementation.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ progressive management experience required.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in cyber security with a proven track record of delivering high quality solutions to clients.
  • Strong leadership acumen; successful team management and development.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertise.
  • CISSP, CISM or similar preferred
  • Advance computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Work, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
