From Q2 2022, InstaDeep is expanding in the United States. With this aim, InstaDeep is looking for a Pre-sales/Solutions Engineer to support the development of its US activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role at InstaDeep you will report to the Engineering Lead. You will support the sales process and serve as a technology adviser to prospective customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate business questions into technical problems that can be solved with a combination of software development and Machine Learning research.
• Implement, test, and deploy highly scalable Machine Learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with researchers and use your expert coding skills to develop industrial solutions (POC, MVP, fully deployed solution) and products (platforms and frameworks).
• Adapt machine learning and neural network algorithms and architectures to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU).
• Interact with customers to understand business requirements and priorities.
• Design, prepare, and present demonstrations that showcase product capabilities and features to customers.
• Report and present development work clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally (clients, different audiences, etc.), both verbally and in writing.
• Actively collaborate with the business development team in their pre-sales activities, including but not limited to: presenting the company to new prospective clients, and representing InstaDeep in conferences/events.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or in a related field.
• 2-5 years’ experience
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience in developing and debugging production-level Python or similar languages. Knowledge of C/C++ is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with version control (Gitlab, Github) and best coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools to automate building, testing and deployment of ML projects.
• Ability to understand Machine Learning concepts and challenges at a high to medium level.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Deep Learning and or Reinforcement learning knowledge and/or experience.
• Sales and pre-sales experience.
