Role

Prelude is seeking a talented and passionate AI Researcher to join our innovative AI team dedicated to revolutionizing the industry by augmenting human capabilities with advanced AI solutions. In this role, you will focus on applying AI techniques, including generative AI, to enhance cybersecurity measures. You will work on complex problems and develop state-of-the-art solutions to give our customers the ability to know with certainty if they are secure from the latest threats.

Job duties

• Conduct research on AI applications in cybersecurity, focusing on threat detection, prevention, and response

• Explore and utilize generative AI techniques to create innovative solutions for cybersecurity

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing security frameworks

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and cybersecurity, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products

• Document and present research findings, demonstrating the impact of AI on cybersecurity 

• Develop AI agents to solve cybersecurity problems

Skills and Experience

• Strong programming experience in Python

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques

• Experience or interest in generative AI technologies

• Proven track record of working on personal AI projects, showcasing your passion and initiative

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices is a HUGE plus

Nice to Haves

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar preferred

• Experience with other gen-AI focused libraries such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar

• Familiarity with threat intelligence analysis and the MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Background in computer science, data science, or a related field
