This position will travel between 6 locations in NC/SC. Travel between sites could be up to 2.5 hours. Ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work all shifts.Essential Functions:• Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.• Provide or manage the required physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirements; such as OSHA, Department of Transportation, CDC, etc.• Use nursing skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.• Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses efficiently and professionally within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.• Collaborate with Physician or other Licensed Independent Practitioner to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed.• Collaborate with outside resources for program development, such as healthcare providers, third-party administrators, legal advisors, medical director, regulatory agencies, etc.• Perform occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).• Conduct appropriate laboratory tests and quality control procedures.• Administer the company’s Drug-Free Workplace Program.• Assist with the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis of all incidents and near misses.• Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain OSHA records/reports and worker medical files.• Assist departments with identifying, evaluating, and implementing accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty.• Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety, Operations, and Human Resources to develop operations, programs, and services by providing content expertise.• Contribute in the design of controls for injury prevention and health surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the work environment.• Identify primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and health promotion strategies to optimize health of the population.• Document accurately all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow-up care arranged.• Identify emergency situations and provide care within legal scope of practice.• Administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner.• Maintain medical records using Electronic Medical Record software.• Identify equipment that needs repair and bring it to the attention of the lead clinician.• Maintain a clean and safe environment.• Follow infection control procedures and maintain patient privacy and confidential patient information.• Participate in follow-up phone calls and follow-up patient visits.• Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required.• Bachelor's degree (BSN) from a four-year college or university is preferred.• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.• Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required.• Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred.• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic.Preferred Experience:• Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
