Communications and Marketing SME

We are seeking an experienced Communications & Marketing SME to assist the U.S. Customs

and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) with integrated strategic planning support. The

Communications & Marketing provides expert guidance on communication strategies and marketing efforts,

ensuring alignment with CBP OFO strategic objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity to support CBP OFO’s

mission to secure the border while facilitating lawful trade and travel that supports our national economy.

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans to support project objectives.
• Provide expert guidance on public relations, media strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in marketing and communications initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and audience data to shape communication strategies.
• Lead the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional activities.

• Ability to obtain CBP Suitability clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.

• CBP Suitability clearance obtained within the last 36 months.
