Proposes, implements, and leads processes to review grantee performance, as well as conducts regular check-in meetings with grantees, reviews reports submitted by grantees, analyzes data provided by grantees, and reports-out to OFA staff on grantees' activities and performance.
Serves in mid-level team roles and provides assistance to program managers.
Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data, draft memoranda/reports (or sections of them) and provide support for organizational, management and process improvement initiatives.
Provides assistance to program and project managers by generating drafts of memoranda/reports and providing management support for programs/projects.
Supports the development of solutions, recommendations or outcomes.
Proposes, implements, and leads processes to review programmatic technical reports, as well as reviewing technical reports or similar products related to grantees, assessing the quality of the reports and their findings, and reporting-out to OFA on the assessment;
Proposes, implements, and leads methods to track grant or contract activities in relation to expected schedules and requirements.
Proposes or contributes content or recommendations to dissemination initiatives related to the HMRF grant programs.
Proposes, implements, and leads processes to track financial information (e.g., on grants or contracts), analyze cost data, and produce financial reports to leadership.
Other duties as assigned (e.g., ad hoc activities to address management needs).
Qualifications:
Experience in managing Federal grants, including tracking grant activities and performance, managing professional relationships with grantees, evaluating grant activities and performance, and reporting on grant activities and performance.
Experience in coaching grantees and other grant-related teams to improve performance and knowledge of when external technical assistance would benefit the grantee.
Ability to analyze work processes and internal systems for effectiveness and efficiency
Success developing written procedures outlining work processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide guidance and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical federal and state personnel
Strong attention to detail in a fast paced, deadline intensive environment
Ability to work across diverse teams and projects from multiple programs and agencies with minimal guidance
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction and guidance
Ability to learn and utilize specialized grant tracking systems such as GrantSolutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and leveraging productivity tools within Microsoft 365 Suite (i.e. Teams, SharePoint, OneNote etc.)
Knowledge of Adobe Pro
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
(Preferred) five (5) years’ experience in technical activities related to grant/contract/project management and oversight, dissemination and strategic communication support, and associated activities and
At least 1 year experience in direct support to OFA or related human services programming.
Expert Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and Microsoft 365 Suite of Productivity Tools: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Outlook
Proficiency with one or more of the following: Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative
