Accounts Receivable Associate

Job Title: Accounts Receivable AssociateCompany/Industry: Well-established beverage importerLocation: Proximity to Syosset, NYSalary: $55-60K/yr Commensurate with experience + benefitsStatus: Direct hire, FT, HYBRIDResponsibilities:Weekly collection calls to NY, NJ, CT, PA, RI, and CA customers to assure moniesreceived per ABC & SLA calendar and within terms.Initiate, track and maintain all records/files associated with collection activities for eachaccount to include negotiated payment schedules, telephone call documentation andcollection letters.Prepare daily cash receipts journal and post cash receipts to customer accounts daily.Research discrepancies and debit memos to secure reimbursement.Ensure company adherence to credit policies and procedures for consistent handling ofcollection matters to maintain good customer relations.Daily credit hold review and releasing of orders from credit hold screen.Daily communication with sales force to secure checks, paperwork, and customersatisfaction.EDI billing for large accounts.Requirements:BS or AS degree in business/accounting/finance or an equal level of directly relatedexperienceMinimum 2+ years’ experience in customer service, accounts receivableStrong PC skills in Microsoft Excel and WordWine industry experience a plusMicrosoft Dynamics Navision a plus.This is currently a hybrid position.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Per Year
