We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist and Administrative Assistant for our client: a family owned auto repair shop in Thousand Oaks. As the first point of contact for their clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys a mix of customer interaction and administrative tasks.Location: Thousand Oaks, CASalary: $22.00/hrWorking Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:• Client Interaction:• Greet clients in a warm and professional manner as they arrive.• Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.• Assist clients with inquiries regarding services, repairs, and other garage-related information.• Billing and Payments:• Handle the settlement of bills, processing payments, and providing receipts for services rendered.• Manage cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately.• Reconcile daily payment records and report discrepancies.• Administrative Support:• Schedule and confirm appointments for vehicle repairs and services.• Maintain and organize client records, service history, and other relevant documentation.• Assist with ordering and inventory management of office and garage supplies.• Support the garage manager with additional tasks as needed.• Software and Systems:• Input and update data in our management systems.• If familiar with Mitchell 1, leverage the software for estimating, invoicing, and managing repair orders.Qualifications:• Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.• Previous experience working in a repair shop is a strong plus.• Excellent customer service and communication skills.• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).• Familiarity with Mitchell 1 is a strong advantage.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Personal Attributes:• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.APPLY NOWCompany DescriptionPrideStaff can offer you a wide range of rewarding career options.
