What does this role involve?

As the Product Operations Manager, you will be the main driver behind improving the operational efficiency of the Product team. Your role is to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day product operations, allowing Product Managers (PMs) to focus more on strategic work. You will drive process improvements, implement tools, and enable cross-functional alignment to scale the product organization effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Tooling & Process Implementation: Manage and extend tooling for centralizing product feedback, prioritizing roadmaps, and tracking delivery progress.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the operational link between product, engineering, customer success, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

  • Product Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and success metrics to provide real-time insights into product performance and roadmap delivery.

  • Merchant Rollout Management: Oversee the rollout and migration of merchants to new product features, collaborating with Product Managers and Customer Success.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve processes to grow the operational engine within the Product function, helping us to scale as the company grows.

  • Capacity Planning & Resource Management: Support internal team prioritization, planning, and resource allocation to ensure optimal delivery timelines.

  • GTM Strategy Support: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure operational readiness for new product launches, and support the alignment of product roadmaps with Go-to-Market strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years in a product operations, product management, or management consulting role closely aligned with product and engineering teams

  • Someone who can deal with ambiguity, be scrappy, and has a passion for identifying solutions to complex problems

  • Someone who is driven by the desire to have an outsized impact

  • A background working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - startup experience preferred

  • Someone with the experience to identify opportunities for operational optimization and the skills and determination to execute these at pace

  • Proficiency in data analysis and BI tools (SQL, Metabase/Tableau/Looker, Excel/GSheets), alongside the experience leveraging them for reporting

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all functions and levels

  • Strong project management skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams toward a common goal
