As the Senior Team Experience Manager (Retail), you'll be the heartbeat of our retail workforce, working closely with the US TX Director. Your role is to foster a positive and engaging work environment, ensuring our teams are motivated, compliant, and equipped with the best practices in human resources.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR SENIOR TEAM EXPERIENCE MANAGER (RETAIL):
30 Days:
-Fully understand Princess Polly’s core values, culture, and strategic goals.
-Build initial relationships with key stakeholders and retail leaders.
-Familiarize yourself with existing HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
-Begin assessing the current state of employee engagement and identify immediate opportunities for improvement.
-Start assisting with the planning and setup of people operations for new store openings.
60 Days:
-Start executing Retail HR initiatives, including onboarding improvements and compliance training.
-Establish a regular communication cadence with retail leaders to address HR issues and opportunities.
-Begin coaching and providing guidance to team members on performance and development.
-Actively support the setup and operationalization of people operations for new store openings.
90 Days:
-Ensure all HR processes are running smoothly, with compliance and operational excellence.
-Demonstrate a positive influence on the retail culture, with visible improvements in team engagement and morale.
-Lead the seamless integration of HR functions and support for new store openings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Culture & Team Engagement:
-Drive initiatives that contribute to Princess Polly being a 'great workplace.'
-Champion our core values and nurture a positive organizational culture.
-Lead employee engagement surveys and develop well-being programs.
Business Partnership:
-Build strong relationships with retail leaders and team members.
-Align retail leadership with strategic and operational goals.
-Provide coaching, guidance, and HR expertise on various issues.
Compliance & Operations:
-Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and up-to-date.
-Manage employee relations and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
-Oversee payroll, leave, and benefits administration.
Leadership:
-Role model core values and support professional development.
-Manage the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
-Lead the retail TX team and contribute to the overall TX function.
COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, -SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
-Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a retail environment.
-Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
-Experience with HRIS systems, preferably ADP and Deputy or similar platforms.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software tools.
-Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
-High level of integrity and confidentiality.
-Strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
-Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
-Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
-Experience in a multi-location retail environment.
-Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement and well-being initiatives.
-Experience in talent acquisition and succession planning.
-Ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
SALARY BANDING: 130k-160k
