The expectation is that the internship will be mutually beneficial, and Waters will benefit from the diverse ideas of graduate students in conjunction with meaningful project deliverables. You will be responsible to help identify and evaluate characterization methods for polymer degradation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with design of experiments and sample identification
- Characterization of commonly recycled polymers and their degradation products using thermal analysis, IR, and mass spectroscopy techniques

Assist with data analysis from spectroscopic, thermal analysis, and rheological testing
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering in the Princeton University Graduate Program

Eager to learn and take initiative

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Ability to work a hybrid model (50% remote, 50% onsite)
- Willingness to travel to TA Instrument’s home office in New Castle, DE and/or Waters Immerse Delaware Lab in Newark, DE
