The Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science & Public Policy, housed within the School of Public and International Affairs, is an interdisciplinary center at Princeton University that leverages the combined strengths of scholars and faculty experts in human decision-making and judgment to help design behaviorally informed policies, practices, and products.
The Center seeks a bright and motivated full-time research assistant to work primarily with the Center’s director to provide broad and research support. Research in the professor’s group focuses on reasoning, judgment, and decision-making, and issues related to social and cognitive psychology, behavioral economics and policy. Assistance with the projects of other center affiliates may be fall under the job responsibilities of this role.
The position provides an excellent opportunity to develop research and analysis skills, and to learn about the psychology of judgment and decision making. The successful applicant will be an energetic, self-directed learner with strong researching and writing abilities and keen research interests.

• Conducting thorough literature reviews• Drafting IRB protocols and managing compliance processes• Designing and implementing online experiments• Coordinating participant recruitment and working with human subjects• Processing and analyzing study data
• Serving as Center liaison to KTC Student Affiliate leadership• Updating student listservs and marketing materials
• Collating behavioral science-related campus programming into accessible list• Managing mailing list• Sending weekly Behavioral Digest newsletter
• Undertaking special projects, as needed• Assisting in the everyday management of the Center
