Marvell’s Central Engineering Group is responsible for development of range of mixed signal IPs that support Marvell’s success in Datacenter, Networking, Automotive and Storage and ASIC businesses. From industry leading designs of high performance SerDes and PHY, analog front ends to IPs such as ADC/DACS, temperature sensors and PLLs, Central Engineering group delivers the essential technology behind this success.
Job Responsibilities:
Seeking a Principal (Sr.) Analog IC Designer to be part of a Marvell's central engineering team designing highly sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES/and essential analog IPs. Responsibilities would span architectural investigations and implementation for circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, CDRs etc. to meet key performance targets and performing design verification using industry standard tools such as SPICE, Spectre, MATLAB etc.
In this role, successful candidate will lead analog design projects, interface with layout, verification, and application teams and manage delivery of analog IP to successfully bring designs from concept to production.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience.
Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
- -Strong circuit fundamentals and experience in designing some of the circuit blocks such as PLL, Data Converters, Oscillators and high-speed SerDes blocks (CTLE, FFE, DFE, CDR, transmitters etc.), high-speed/low-jitter clocking.
- Experience with analog design and verification tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE and post extraction tools) is a must.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Experienced in lab chip bring-up and debugging.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
136,880 - 205,000, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
