What You'll Do:
Principal is seeking a multifaceted individual to join our team as a Contract Consultant in our Specialty Benefits Division. If you're an organized and independent worker with strong attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills, this may be the position for you!
As a Contract Consultant, you will act as a technical resource, processing and modifying approved contracts.
Here are some examples of the kinds of things you'll do:

Update and maintain contracts and booklets when needed to meet customer needs and timings, and/or sophisticated or non-standard cases.

Participate in projects relating to the contracts function which may include process improvements, system or on-line changes, legislative changes, and the overall performance of crafting contracts and booklets.

Provide technical knowledge regarding contracts processes, policies, and procedures by answering questions, researching sophisticated or non-standard situations, providing communications, and representing the contracts function.

Develop and deliver written and verbal communications to various internal partners regarding changes or decisions around the contracts function.

Perform other job-related duties or special projects as the need arises.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years related work experience.

Strong planning and interpersonal, problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), accuracy and attention-to-detail skills.

Proficient presentation, analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) proficiency.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $18.39 - $35.19 / hour Additional Information:
Location
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements.
