Principal Product Manager - Developer Platform (all genders)

Are you eager to shape the very foundation that empowers software development teams at Delivery Hero to efficiently develop, deliver and operate software products? Then join us as a Principal Product Manager (all genders) on our Developer Platform team.

The Developer Platform team is responsible for Delivery Hero's internal developer platform. It creates solutions that empower our internal software development community to efficiently manage their applications from inception to deployment and beyond.

This role demands a strong technical background, understanding of platform engineering concepts, and the ability to deal with a high level of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

You mission:

• You will be the product lead for an entire domain. You will lead its strategic vision and roadmap, collaborate with engineering and other stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities for improvements in the platform, prioritize them… You know the drill.

• You will utilize data analysis, user feedback, and market research to make data-driven product decisions. Defining the right KPIs, figuring out how to measure them, and using them to guide the efforts of your team is a big part of your job.

• You will engage in (highly) technical discussions about platform engineering, infrastructure, and developer tools. You will make informed decisions related to these topics and provide valuable insights to your team.

• You will drive cross-functional, cross-team collaboration. You will manage conflicting priorities, and disentangle chains of dependencies across a large organization.

• You will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep stakeholders informed about your plans, decisions, and product updates.

Your heroic skills:

• You have 5+ years' experience in software product management.

• You have a strong technical background and are familiar with the modern software development lifecycle.

• You have a good understanding of business KPIs, and how to translate strategy into action using an OKR framework.

• You are good at managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

• You have exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication in order to get others on board with your ideas.

• Previous experience working with platform engineering or developer platform products is desirable.
