Summary of Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with our business experts to develop and drive initiatives to streamline SunPower Residential’s End-To-End processes by working with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deploy best-in-class solutions for a wide variety of business processes improvements including building predictive analytics and reporting models to surface, identify, and understand the root causes of operational challenges.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with senior and executive management, develop a rationale for long-term investments in technology or process improvement tools to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Working cross-functionally, identify the root cause of operational inefficiencies and develop and launch scalable, tech-enabled, solutions.
  • Analyze and prepare process improvement initiatives in multiple cross-functional areas such as Order-to-Cash, Cycle Time reduction, pipeline health and management, and operational cost mitigation.
  • Develop and/or lead cross-functional teams of BIEs and Analysts to build new or augment existing analytics tools, forecasting tools, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements documents suitable for digital teams to develop technically and operationally robust solutions to analytical needs.
  • Anticipate business intelligence gaps, needs, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in program or project management with a demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams in program and process improvement and change management.
  • Operational program management experience, ideally in residential solar program management, with a deep familiarity with the workflows, metrics, and reporting needed to understand and optimize outcomes.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal, written, and auditory communication skills including the ability to develop complex, data-driven written proposals for senior and executive management.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Excel, data connectors, and online data analysis software.
  • A Master’s degree in business, operations, or engineering is strongly preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
  • Technical knowledge of solar system installation, monitoring, and management is helpful.
