The Suttle-Straus Creative Team is looking for a print graphic designer to join our award-winning team! In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of print projects for a variety of brands and clients, as well as internal marketing efforts, designing printed collateral from business cards to direct mail campaigns. This position is full-time in an experienced team of creatives with an average tenure of 6 years at our print production plant in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Get the unique experience to follow your projects from concept all the way through print production to completion.

Responsibilities:
Must Have:

Minimum 2 years PRINT-related graphic design experience

Degree in Commercial Art/Graphic Design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Advanced knowledge of design principles such as typography, color, and composition
- Experience with multiple page layouts (i.e. booklets, brochures, and annual reports)

Experience effectively presenting ideas to clients, both verbally and visually

Knowledge of file preparation for print projects

Understanding of print production (paper/substrate selection, coatings, binding, personalization, mailing)

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure of hard deadlines according to priorities

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Strong verbal and written communication skills (proficient in puns a plus!)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details

Must possess a track record of developing successful design solutions
- Contributing to improving and developing process efficiencies

Love for collaboration, team brainstorming, and sharing sessions

Working knowledge of PDF editing (Adobe Acrobat), Microsoft Word and Excel, and presentation software (Keynote/PowerPoint)
Nice to Have:

Exposure to the printing industry and knowledge of different print processes

Experience and understanding of design for wide format (wall wraps, displays)

Working knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects)

Experience using a digital camera (D-SLR) for both stills and video
