Overview:
Veeco is seeking a Process Technician to support demos as well as application development. Veeco is well-positioned with great teams, core technologies, and a strong entrepreneurial culture that supports new product development.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate semiconductor processing equipment. Perform setup and calibration of equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform all activities to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Perform engineering experiments following instructions.
  • Monitor, analyze data and process conditions. Document and keep daily logs. Maintain SPC charts.
  • Use standard applications (MS Office) for creating reports and documenting procedures.
  • Maintain customer and supply logs.
  • Operate metrology equipment and perform visual inspections.
  • Keep abreast of and conform to all safety requirements
  • Handle basic tool diagnosis and consult/work with cross-functional teams to maintain tool healthiness.

Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent preferred. At least 2 years of experience working in a wafer process environment required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • MS Office – Excel, Words and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 + bonus + benefits. When determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
