Job Description:
This Processing Helper bid will have various duties within the mixing, scaling, processing and oven areas. He/She will have job responsibilities that include sorting raisins, placing hot lids on pans, giving breaks to moulder/panner operators and pan helpers. Responsibilities may also include dumping into minor ingredient bins, assisting with scaling minor ingredients, cleaning mixers and washing buckets. In addition, we will also train on operating additional processing equipment. Assist packaging as necessary and available. He/She will neatly and accurately complete and turn in all necessary paperwork for each assigned position. Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Functions:
1) Review pertinent information with the previous shift i.e., mechanical issues etc.
2) Perform pre – op inspection of your work area
3) Insure panner guides are set up correctly
4) Adjust flour levels to ensure that the dough pieces transfer smoothly through the work area
5) Clean equipment
6) Rack off and rack on full pans as necessary
7) Remove trash as necessary
8) Maintain a safe neat and clean work area accordance with GMP and good housekeeping practices
9) Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
10) Follow all JSA guidelines
11) May have to train on a different shift for the position.

Work Conditions:
1) 8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour break. Overtime is required.
2) Environment – Noise levels will be minimal to moderate, and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing from wet and dry ingredients.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
