Procon Consulting is seeking candidates with strong backgrounds that include but not limited to Real Estate, facilites management, property management & operations to join our team on a long term basis for multiyear government projects in support of large federal programs. The role is focused on the operation, control, maintenance, and oversight of real estate and day-to-day facilities management. The candidate will also provide specialized assistance and guidance to our client, including strategic, tactical, and organizational consulting to track program efficiency and effectiveness. The project is located in Aliso Viejo, CA and is supporting a large federal client. This role does require a Top Secret, CBP or Level V clearance.
Qualifications and Skills- 5 years minimum of leasing, facilites and property management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Business or engineering disciplines preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of general real estate terminology.
- Knowledge of basic project economics and the time value of money.
- Experience in analyzing data to develop and deliver reports, recommendations, and presentations to management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Highly professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess great customer service, organizational, and team skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and/or Google Docs.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
Responsibilities and Duties- Coordinate with leasing specialist(s) on General Services Administration (GSA) lease agreements, direct lease agreements, MOA/MOU, IAA, and other relevant documents to ensure the documentation is properly loaded into CBP’s real-estate system of record – International Business Machines’ (IBM) TRIRIGA (not an acronym) asset management application software and Microsoft SharePoint, or their replacements.
- Assist leasing specialist(s) with data entry and reporting in the Systems, Applications, and Product (SAP) software application or its replacement.
- Assist the leasing branch in entering and quality-controlling leasing information in the Facilities and Infrastructure Tracking Tool (FITT) for project and real estate records.
- Assist leasing specialist(s) and Branch Chiefs at the beginning of the lease; including assisting with minor planning activities, requirements development, and tracking approvals.
- Assist during the Leases’ administration phase and coordinate Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases, ownership changes, and rent escalations applicable to each lease action, in coordination with the assigned Realty Specialist and Contracting Officer.
- Assist with tracking and coordinating activities to ensure leases are properly closed in the system.
