This role is an excellent opportunity for an intern to gain knowledge and insights on management of third party vendors, including large providers of software and services to Axos’ banking and financial services business.

Our two key areas of Procurement include vendor due diligence, which includes coordination with Risk, Compliance, Info Security, and Legal, and Strategic Sourcing. The intern will have the opportunity to engage in both areas.

Responsibilities:

Using analytical skills to research supporting Strategic Sourcing of contracts
Support tasks associated with vendor management due diligence
Provide analytical support to the SVP, Enterprise Procurement & Contracts
Provide analyst support for the vendor sourcing / contracting process
Provide support on a specific number of Vendor Management tickets to process for due diligence, renewals, etc.
Protect the Bank from unauthorized expenditure – responsibility for key deliverable that has a direct impact on Bank results
Protect the Bank from interrupted operations – ensure timely completion of vendor management reviews and contract execution

Requirements:

Strong analytical and communication skills
Team/collaborative working style
In pursuit of Bachelors Degree
Entry level role, but some experience in a financial institution is beneficial

An hourly rate of USD $18.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr., based on the experience, skills, and education/certification required for this position.
