Position:

We are looking for a Procurement Operations Manager to join our Global Operations team. The successful candidate will continue building out the fledgling procurement function, as well as supporting the wider team in building and optimising scalable processes that will support Genesis’s accelerated growth.

You will lead the implementation of a new Procurement Automation Tool, drive down business costs by both negotiating with existing and new suppliers, as well as ensuring that the business has no overlap of tools and functionality. Genesis needs best in class tools in order to continue to scale, and you will be responsible for the onboarding and roll out of these tools.

You will also support other Operational activities, be it existing transformational projects, RFP responses, systems management, or workplace operations etc.

HOW YOU’LL PLAY YOUR PART

  • Responsible for the leadership, management, performance, of our procurement function.
  • Manage our approved vendors, and conduct regular vendor evaluation and review meetings to identify current and future savings and initiate actions for their resolution.
  • Serve as the prime point of contact for new tools with internal and external stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
  • You’ll work autonomously to deliver projects, taking accountability for their success.


Requirements:

  • Previous procurement experience, ideally with experience working within an Operations Function and/or a start-up.
  • Expert in stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including associated project teams
  • Experience in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
  • Proactivity – you will have a willingness to learn new things and take ownership of tasks.
