The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Design, the Product Design intern is responsible for the success of the team’s design and research initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to be an early learning Product Design Intern and be a part of an interdisciplinary team that creates stellar data-driven and user-centric solutions. You will be responsible for supporting and improving the design system work for our design team by contributing to existing components and documenting use cases. Additional responsibilities will include working with other product designers, researchers, business stakeholders and software engineers to discover different approaches to solving a user’s problem while also considering business goals and technical constraints. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the creation of user workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and low / hi fidelity mockups. There will also be an opportunity to learn about and support the on-going research work centralizing insights which validate the team’s product strategy and design efforts.
Role Objectives
Learn how to translate user needs and business requirements into design
Support the design and delivery of wireframes, mockups and prototypes
Support the visual communication of key programs and deliverable presentations
Learn about, optimize, and document components for the existing design system in Adobe XD and Figma
Contribute knowledge and use of latest technologies and techniques for research and product design
Required
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a target graduation date of 2023 or 2024
Have an online portfolio
Familiar with and/or passionate about UX design and user research methodologies
Familiar with design software such as Figma, Adobe XD and Creative Cloud
Passion for understanding users’ needs honing his/her visual design skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Applies UX principles to own ways of working to be well organized and a good teammate be well-organized and collaborative
Careful attention to details
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Entrepreneurial spirit
Team player, open-mindedness and eagerness to learn
Proficiency in English
