About the Role

You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative design team that cares deeply about creating delightful and intuitive life benefits experiences for our customers and members. You'll help bring hundreds of thousands of our members' peace of mind and joy by curating inclusive benefits programs such as wellness, childcare, lifestyle, family, wealth, health, and work benefits.

You Will

• Be able to identify high-impact initiatives for our user experience that are deeply rooted in design craft.

• Drive design vision and uphold practices to achieve the said vision in partnership with the design and product team.

• Mentor other Designers in areas of craft and processes.

• Take pride in helping design be easy-to-use, human-centered experiences that appeal to a broad audience. Balancing design forward-thinking with approachability.

• Coordinate across teams to introduce new ways of working that result in better experiences in developing high-quality products for our customers.

• Build working relationships, and develop new processes with cross-functional partners across Product Management, User Research, and Engineering.

• Bring data into your decision-making and rationale, and understand how your work is performing with a literacy of the measures being applied to it.

• Balance working on multiple projects at once, applying yourself to a variety of contexts in parallel.

• Help build a Design System. Ensuring our design and engineering teams are best set up to work efficiently with one another.

• Have the ability to integrate into engineering and QA processes to ensure high-quality execution.

Preferred Skills

• Passionate about craft, accessibility, delight, and quality in Product Design. You bring these passions forward by shipping effective product solutions that meet customer and business needs.

• Professional experience of 4+ years with responsibilities of interface and user experience design for consumer-oriented products on mobile platforms and the web

• Proven track record of pushing ambitious products that met the organization's goals and timelines.

• Ability to understand deeply complex problems and develop clear rationale to bring people onboard

• Demonstrating prior use of qualitative and quantitative methods to validate design decisions and strategy. We believe in leveraging everything from user research to data analysis to help empower our decision-making.

• Having financial, benefits, or SaaS related experience is a plus.
