The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for owning a specific area of our separated focused categories - Wigs & Toppers, Extensions & Accessories, or Hair Replacement.

This role ensures the team meets calendar deadlines for on-time launches, daily factory communications, and sample coordination.

• Takes ownership of competitive analysis, reviews marketing materials, keeps all master spreadsheets & project briefs up-to-date, and coordinates beta testing/follow-up.
• Assist Lead Product Designer in monitoring projects, updating order sheets, and follow-up with vendors to ensure innovations schedule is executed on time.
• Assist in cross-departmental training for new product innovations details.
• Responsible for scheduling, note taking, and action item allocation during monthly overseas vendor calls.
• Participates in weekly product development meetings, monthly town hall company meetings, and quarterly marketing meetings.
• Drives daily communication with overseas vendors, and cross-functional teams related to product information and deadlines
• Tracks, organizes and coordinates samples and checks specs are accurate, confirms with overseas vendors if specs are met or need revisions. Unpack, stage, or ship samples as needed.
• Works under the general direction of the Lead Product Designer
• Prior experience with software systems such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
• Able to flex work schedule 1 late night a week to have overseas vendor calls to accommodate with time difference (can be done offsite)

Required Education and Experience

• At least 2 years of successful experience Product Development
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Beauty industry experience preferred
• Cosmetology License a PLUS

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

On site Carlsbad, CA.

Travel

Travel maybe required for factory visits, client visits, seminars and trainings.
