Appjobs.com is a matchmaker between job seekers and gig platforms like Uber, Airbnb, Doordash, Upwork, Lime, and many more. We help people find gig platforms that are in their city so they can start making money without dealing with formalities. Appjobs.com members match, rate and review gig platforms in their city. Our powerful acquisition engine grew membership rapidly to 3+ million worldwide and our revenue keeps growing every month, by charging a variable fee from gig platforms through our internal bidding engine.

We are looking for someone to lead the product at Appjobs.com and shape an improved strategy to further swerve the job seeker needs, so the business can further scale. Furthermore, you will be a key driver of the integration of Appjobs.com with the other two Appjobs products, Unveel and Appjobs Work App. You will be working day-to-day with a strong technical team and the Appjobs.com Director. You will also have to work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. In fact, you will be the linchpin that holds and unites the Tech, Sales and Marketing functions.


Who are we looking for?

AppJobs.com is looking for a Product Lead or Head of Product who will own the development of our original product, which is currently profitable and growing.

The primary goal will be to develop and deliver products and features that provide value to both users and the Appjobs business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide guidance and problem solving to the team to address challenges and blockers, that will allow us to deliver both user value and meet business objectives.
  • Improve overall quality of the product by UX tweaks.
  • Proactively highlight areas of concern and opportunities.
  • Effectively collaborate with the Director of the business unit and the Tech, Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Bringing creativity to Appjobs.com through customer and market insights.
  • Being on top of Appjobs.com product performance from customer and data perspective: what is happening and why.

You need to have ownership and passion, as well as a growth mindset. You can translate user and business requirements into priorities. In addition to this, you will be expected to work through product and problem brainstorming with the Appjobs.com team to develop scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Let us know if you are:

  • A hands-on doer that doesn't need to be told what to do and who can drive the product development
  • Experimental mindset: failure is allowed, not trying new ideas and initiatives is not.
  • Proven digital product management experience with strong prioritising skills.
  • Strong customer empathy and experience shaping products based on customer needs.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced and sometimes a bit chaotic startup environment. Previous experience working at a startup is needed.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker, with strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with Scrum project management, methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira or Asana), including backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven, so you are interested in tracking results and taking measurements before building opinions.
  • Able to work both with technical teams (engineering, QA) and commercial people (marketing, sales).
  • Familiar with decision-making frameworks and how to use them. E.g RICE methodology tools like Ducalis, Airfocus or Craft.
  • Familiar with Figma, Invision, or similar design tools.
  • Broad understanding of technical concepts (components/APIs/data-fetching/etc).

The following are plus scores:

  • Good understanding of SEO, product marketing and growth strategies.
  • Experience working with a globally-distributed team.
  • Previously worked with industries or products with high-quality requirements: finance, banking, affiliate platforms, e-commerce and others. Lead generation based products are even a stronger plus!
  • Familiarity with web development tools and methodologies.
