Product Manager (Media)

Introduction:

SymphonyAI Media is looking for a results-driven, highly motivated Product Manager to join our team to shape the future of media in the digital age. As a Product Manager on our Media team, you would be responsible for all areas of the product lifecycyle, including external and internal requirements discovery, Jira administration, product specification development, and defining the product roadmap for the SMAI media applications and AI technologies.

To help us with this vision, we are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Media and Entertainment industry, a technical skill set around SaaS software architecture and deployment modeling, and an ability to communicate and present product requirements to both leadership and development organizations. You will be engaged in top-level involvement with our client base that includes some of the largest media companies, OTT service providers and content providers in the media industry.

Job Description:

As a Product Manager, your duties will include:

Jira administration and management of product requirements
Sprint and release management including collaboration with the product owner and development teams
Requirement prioritization and communication to the development team
Providing product requirements to define the deployment and software architecture of SMAI SaaS solutions
Defining customer integration requirements
Overseeing product development with the product development leads
Creating product documentation and training materials
Pre-sales product support

The right candidate must be passionate about developing new products and services, enterprise customer satisfaction, and understanding how to balance customer needs with the needs of SAIM and its resources. Successful candidates will have strong SaaS product skills and Jira management backgrounds resulting from multiple years of hands-on SaaS product management. You will be instrumental in gathering and envisioning the future requirements of the next generation of SAIM SaaS products supporting the Media and Entertainment industry. This role will provide top-notch customer service, requirements assessment, and specification development to ensure product delivery success.

Top candidates will have:

5+ years of product management experience in the customer software or services space, preferably in the Media and Entertainment industry
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
Demonstrated ability to lead simultaneous initiatives in an entrepreneurial culture
Development process skills, to include familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira administration
Demonstrated experience leading clients and engagement teams through complex solution implementations
Experience in defining and deploying SaaS solutions
Experience in both product and portfolio management
Experience with data science and/or big data

The base salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000.
