As a Product Manager - Academic Publishing, you will develop and ship amazing products that delight authors, editors and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the publishing product strategy, define the product roadmap, drive the execution and operationalize the product.
Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers to build and develop the product
Drive innovation, definition, deliverables planning, and design of new products
Define and analyze product metrics and user research to inform decision-making and measure success
Requirements
3-4 years of B2C online product management or internal tooling product management experience
Experience with product operations and launching complex new products
Proven track record of business impact
Strategic, creative, and analytic - 50/50 left brain/right brain
Know how to delight customers and how to use data to know if you did
Proven ability to lead teams consisting of engineering, user research, UX, and analytics
Experience with A/B testing
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative user research
Prior startup experience is a must Understanding of key technologies and the ability to converse at a technical level
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as key toolingBS degree, MS/MBA

With an HQ in San Francisco, employees can choose to work in-office or remotely from anywhere in the US and Canada. (Must be legally living and working in the USA or a Canadian citizen)
Our core work hours are 10am-4pm Pacific Time with flex hours for the rest of the day.
