Product Manager- Billing, Packaging, and Provisioning

As a Product Manager for Billing, Packaging, and Provisioning at Postscript, you will be responsible for the planning, definition, delivery, and adoption of our billing platform (including in-app upgrades), packaging & provisioning, and feature management & authorization. Your team just successfully launched an entirely new billing and pricing system and introduced a tiered, packaged SaaS model to Postscript for the first time. Your job will be to lead the team in expanding on that success as they iterate on the billing platform to support new business opportunities, make it easy for teams to package & manage new features, and lay the foundation for how we manage feature access across our product. 

Through direct contact with customers, partnering with customer-facing teams, and deep familiarity with SaaS platforms you will continually acquire knowledge of our customer base, their usage of our product, the ways in which they want to purchase and manage our tools, and how that interacts with the needs of our business. As a Product Manager, you will work with your product lead to develop the vision and strategy for your domain, then exercise ownership and autonomy in defining the tactics, roadmap, and goals to execute against them. You will regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a way that excites them and creates alignment. You’ll have the ability to have a huge impact on Postscript’s growth, and the work you do will have an impact on every Postscript customer’s success. This position has substantial strategic scope, and represents an opportunity for a strong PM to join our team and grow with the company.

Primary duties

• Own the problems, roadmap, prioritization, and product for Billing, Packaging, and Provisioning; including definition, discovery, delivery, release, measurement communication, and iteration. You’ll balance investment in new systems and features with iteration on existing tools & support of the teams that rely on your pieces of the Postscript Platform.
• Define and regularly measure success for your team and product areas. Hold yourself and your team accountable for progress against quantifiable goals, and work to iteratively and measurably increase usage and impact of billing, packaging, and provisioning tools.
• Develop excellent customer knowledge. Regularly engage with Postscript customers, UX/design, and customer-facing teams to develop customer profiles, understand usage patterns, and accurately define customer workflows, problems, and opportunities related to your domain. 
• Develop exceptional ecommerce and platform expertise. Establish and maintain strong working expertise within the ecommerce ecosystem. Continually develop a perspective on best-in-class approaches to platform-oriented approaches to SaaS billing, pricing, packaging, provisioning, and feature access management.

What We’ll Love About You

• 3-4+ years of SaaS product management experience
• 2+ years of product management experience working on billing, pricing & packaging, or permissions and account management strongly preferred
• Experience at a VC-funded, high-growth Series B/C/D startup strongly preferred
• Strong technical conversancy & systems thinking; ability to dig into data and domain models, understand architecture, and collaborate closely with engineering to understand how technical decisions will translate into customer and stakeholder experience.
• Experience working with a diverse B2B customer base including multiple profiles or sizes of business at the same time  
• Experience working with small, agile product delivery teams across the product lifecycle; history of collaborating with Engineering and Design to decompose big, ambitious goals into smaller pieces that you can tackle iteratively. 
• Experience developing tools and systems that serve developers, internal stakeholders, and external customers; and balancing investment across multiple groups.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-departmental teams and external stakeholders
• Genuine excitement about making SMS the next meaningful customer engagement channel
• Experience in high growth, rapid iteration environment
