Location: Minneapolis, MN or Columbia, MD (Hybrid – 2 days per week minimum)

Computershare has an amazing opportunity for a permanent full-time Product Manager to join our Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) team. A role you will love

The Product Manager works within Technology and focuses on enabling our SAS (Specialized Asset Services) and CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) product family. This senior level role is responsible for leading the product demand pipeline and ensuring that they collaborate and coordinate with the development teams, and leading the product managers and specialists on all project related activity related to the product and role.

The Product Innovation function consists of a dynamic team of industry experts and leaders from the financial services industry solely focused on bringing innovative financial products to the global marketplace.

The Product Manager role is responsible for managing an existing SAS/CLO product family as well as working with the technical squads to identify, develop, implement and launch new product initiatives to market.

The overarching responsibilities for the Product Manager are to work with key stakeholders to define the long-term vision and roadmap for the product family, communicate key initiatives to relevant stakeholders, and deliver new products to market which meet the global Corporate Trust commercial objectives.

This role also works as an integral part of the product family team who engages with the business and technology squads to set priorities, gain and respond to feedback, implement the product roadmap, and execute the product family strategy to ensure it aligns to and realizes commercial goals.

The Product Manager ensures the performance of existing products is measured against and meeting an agreed set of criteria, but also looks for opportunities to optimize the products by exploiting opportunities for customer growth, market adoption and product profitability.


What will you bring to the role?

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience developing products from idea, build, launch and growth in a financial services, technology or professional services sector, with ownership over a diverse portfolio of products and services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.
  • Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision.
  • High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
  • Experience with Web based technologies (client and server side) that include .NET, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience with design and structure of SQL and/or Oracle database techniques and language.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and where each are best applied.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in and supporting global business units with in-house solutions.
  • Strong business knowledge in Corporate Trust Services for Collateralized Loan Obligation and/or Specialized Asset Services
