As Product Manager, Pricing Operations, you will collaborate with salespeople, marketing, and product leaders in order to ensure that Dynatrace’s pricing strategy is effectively communicated, understood, and executed. You will be a key part of the product development process, engaging early to facilitate value-based pricing and packaging design decisions. As products come to market, you’ll create assets and lead trainings to maximize the impact of our competitive positioning and grow Dynatrace revenue. Once products are launched, you’ll leverage quantitative approaches to assess performance across KPIs and identify any needed course corrections.
In this role, you’ll drive change by partnering cross functionally and thinking about the big picture while keeping everyone focused on the next steps. The right candidate will have the organizational skills needed to manage complex global programs, the writing abilities needed to create high-quality assets, and the analytical skills needed to assess the impact of our team’s decision-making.
Identify and execute programs to improve the completeness, simplicity, and effectiveness of Dynatrace’s global pricing strategy.
Evangelize and educate internal and external stakeholders on the core elements and advantages of our pricing model.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective and efficient introduction of new products including completeness of the pricing bill of materials.
Manage complex programs. Identify and prioritize tasks, engage appropriate stakeholders, and track results.
Support the implementation of programs and processes that improve the execution of our commercial strategy and operations.
Conduct regular quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop insights on pricing effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
3+ years of product management experience or equivalent role within a software product company.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and organize work across geographically distributed peer groups. Capability to own the planning of complex programs, including the identification of key tasks and dependencies.
Superior communication capabilities, including the ability to develop process and commercial documentation and reference materials.
Clear sense of ownership and accountability and confidence to independently lead strategic programs.
Quantitative analytical (Excel) and ability to translate data output into executive recommendations
