What We Are Looking For
The Product Manager is the champion responsible for leadership of the Pulse Power product lifecycle. Pulse Power is Panduit’s latest innovations in the world of Class 4 Power; new and exciting technology that makes the delivery of electricity safe. The Project Manager understands, influences, and supports internal and external customers and stakeholders. This role will be key to drive Panduit’s growth strategy in the In-Building Wireless market. This position will also play a key role in understanding customer requirements and launching new products to address the market needs. It is highly desirable for a candidate to have previous experience in power distribution: AC Infrastructure, Class 2 Power. Also, highly desirable to have knowledge and field experience in any of the following applications: In-building wireless, Distributed Antenna Systems, Distributed RAN, Small Cells.
What You Will Do

Lead and execute all stages of the product lifecycle, including business case development and global/regional product launches

Work closely with engineering and contract manufacturing to deliver new products

Provide application support for Pulse Power including technical collateral, Product Collateral, and Account Management Tools Training

Stay up to date with In-Building Wireless technology (DAS, Small Cell, CBRS, 5G, etc.)

Lead competitor analysis activity including product Value Proposition, Competitive Landscape, Market sizing and share, and Pricing

Identify product gaps in target applications and develop business cases for new product introductions

Act as a trusted advisor to understand and address the customers’ needs and inquiries

Develop design and ROM tools to ensure quick response to customer inquiries

Identify and qualify opportunities early in the process via close interaction with the account team and understand the customers’ business issues/needs

Architect solutions ranging from simple to complex, individually or within a team

Pricing, S&OP Forecasting, Inventory Management, and provide cost inputs into Manufacturing Strategy

Work closely with marketing to deliver compelling displays to promote Pulse Power
-
Travel for field support of Pulse Power installations or to address customer issues with existing installations

Provide product/technical training to Account Managers to update them on the latest product developments

Provide regular training to Distributors/Channel Partners/System Integrators to keep them abreast of the advantages of Panduit offerings

Support trade shows and seminars
What You Will Bring
-
Undergraduate degree required in the Technical or Business field, preferably in Electrical Engineering

iBwave certification preferred
-
5-7 years of relevant experience, working in Product Management preferably supporting a new product, preferably Electrical/Power background
-
Must have strong background in In-Building Wireless designs and field deployment support
-
A background in In-building wireless/DAS market
-
RF Engineering background preferred
-
Strong network of contacts at System Integrators, Neutral Hosts and Carriers
-
Preferred experience designing and deploying DAS systems
