As the Product Marketing Manager in our International Sales & Marketing team, you will partner closely with the Territory Managers and their distributors as well as the International Marketing Managers to support the different markets and contribute developing the portfolio of Jazwares brands.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the primary contact for distributor markets (except LatAm) for marketing planning
  • Develop understanding of the different markets (retailer landscape, local economy, key competitors per segment etc.) by actively participating in Sales calls with distributors, and share back learnings with the rest of the International Marketing team
  • Collaborate closely with the Int’l Marketers to get a full understanding of global marketing plans for each brand as well as the corresponding creative assets (e.g. TVCs, digital banners developed for each active brand) and walk distributors through these plans and assets during the Sales calls to provide guidance
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to identify their needs in terms of marketing tools and assets and liaise with the International Marketers to create those
  • Funnel the deliverables needed from distribution partners
  • Gather from International Marketers information required from distributors and attached deadlines (e.g. retail placement grids, licensor reviews)
  • Consolidate and organize in a monthly calendar, and discuss with the Territory Managers to identify the most effective way to approach distributors (streamline the look and feel of the different documents, consolidate the different requests as appropriate to avoid sending multiple emails / requests to a given distributor in a given week, set up calls and reminders as pertinent)
  • Gather distributors’ marketing plans and share back with Int’l Marketers
  • Collect, organize and analyze the quarterly marketing spends from distributors, and report back to the Territory Managers potential issues (i.e. when distributors are not meeting their contractual marketing obligations, or when their marketing spends do no align with global marketing approach)
  • Actively support the creation and on-going management of International Line Lists
  • Manage a selection of line lists and be responsible for updating them on a weekly basis, based on the information shared by the Global Brand Team
  • Support and mentor International Sales and Marketing Coordinators

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field
  • 5 + years of relevant, results driven experience in consumer product marketing, gaming, toys, entertainment, or licensing
  • 1+ years of team management experience
  • Communication/Presentation: Clear communication and ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of different teams, including non-EN speakers. Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Problem-solving: Strong ability to use critical and creative thinking to resolve issues by identifying root causes
  • Time management and organization: Highly organized and efficient. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. Easily adapt to shifts in priorities
  • Marketing background: Familiar with trade and digital marketing tactics, planning & reporting; creative thinking and ability to drive creative process for developing assets
  • Computer literacy: Proficiency with G suite, spreadsheets and other online tools
  • Multilingual is a plus
