Product Marketing Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our passionate marketing team based in the UK and help us take our story to market. It will be up to you to drive the high impact go-to-market strategy for our digital fundraising platform and services. You will make sure our Marketing, Account Management and Customer Success teams are fully equipped to win thanks to your incredible positioning, messaging, packaging, market analysis, pricing and content creation.

This is a great fit for a hands-on, big picture marketer, who is motivated by influencing strategy, excels in building strong cross-functional relationships, and is passionate about making the world a better place.

What you'll be doing

This strategic role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales and Product Management. You must quickly develop a deep understanding of our solution portfolio and the unique market we serve.

  • Go-to-market strategy: lead new product and feature launches through effective marketing and sales strategies across a wide range of channels. Leverage deep understanding of our products, key market segments and the needs of our customers to drive strong adoption measured over time.
  • Market analysis: Understand market needs, size and define market segments to drive strategic decision making in Product and Commercial departments in line with the business’s longterm growth plans.
  • Positioning and messaging: Create compelling value propositions and benefit statements that differentiate our core solutions across a range of B2B and B2C verticals and personas.
  • Content creation: Articulate value propositions through the creation of multi-channel content: landing pages, sales assets, pitch decks, call scripts, demonstrations and case studies. You will have a deep understanding of the different content needs of B2B vs B2C audiences at each stage of the decision-making funnel.
  • Ongoing adoption: for some of our key products and features it doesn’t end with a launch plan. You’ll need to get into the data to understand adoption and define a plan to optimise customer use and satisfaction.
  • Packaging: Create product bundles and packages of existing solutions to best serve market needs
  • Pricing: Complete regular pricing analysis to ensure optimal price-to-value in our market.
  • Competitive intelligence: Maintain an ‘always on’ competitor analysis programme to ensure we stay one step ahead of B2B and B2C competitors
  • You’ll be responsible for metrics around sign-up, activation, adoption, and product use.

What we need you to bring

  • Strong background in Marketing, with minimum 3 years of specific Product Marketing experience in the technology space in addition to general marketing roles
  • Understand and articulate the key value propositions of our digital fundraising portfolio, developing impactful targeted messages for each customer segment and persona
  • Exceptional ability to write and create product content
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable influencing, educating and enabling Product roadmap and Commercial go-to-market
  • Natural analytic skills to interpret and draw business conclusions from large quantities of market data
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a bias-to-action
  • Commercial focus; comfortable aligning your priorities to business metrics with strong affinity for long term customer adoption and success measurements
  • Ability to drive projects forward at rapid pace, coordinating stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Experience in non-profit sector a plus
