The Product Program Manager leads and delivers new solutions and global projects that drive transformation within Paycom for our customers and employees. This position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring large scale initiatives for the Product Management department that support critical operational functions spanning multiple business units. The Product Program Manager is also responsible for implementing best practices and overseeing the maturity of the overall program management function.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates, maintains, and executes holistic launch plans for strategic-level projects.

Establishes project deadlines and continuously monitors and reports on project progress to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Identifies opportunities to mature the effectiveness of the strategic launch planning activities, including opportunities to advance stakeholder collaboration.

Collaborates with Product Portfolio and Suite leaders to align expectations regarding the project and change management plans for projects impacting multiple products.

Partners directly with the Client Experience team to ensure full realization of product and business goals.

Serves as mentor and coach to junior and senior-level project managers.

Provides clear direction to internal teams to ensure all releases are deployed similarly to ensure full adoption and client usage of each feature.

Builds relationships and influences other department leaders to ensure goals are met.

Identifies and mitigates roadblocks that could delay project deadlines.

Consults on user impact and best practices when changing or implementing new solutions.
Education/Certification:
-
High school and 6+ years of experience managing projects required
- Associates 4+ years of experience managing projects required
- Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience managing projects required

Prior experience with project management software required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
