Overview

Morning Brew is looking for a full-time Production Coordinator to join our fast-growing multimedia department. This position is based in New York, but all Brew employees are currently working remotely until further notice.

As Production Coordinator, you will report into the Production Manager and have a variety of responsibilities across Morning Brew’s video content, including creating call sheets for shoots, managing calendars, handling invoices, and booking locations and/or talent. Outstanding organizational skills are a must for this role.   

Great candidates are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and it’s perfect for an enthusiastic person with lots of hustle and excellent attention to detail. 

Key responsibilities include: 

- Keeping calendars up to date in Monday and Studio Binder

- Building and sending out call sheets

- Checking in with producers about deadlines

- Booking crew/talent

- Sending out crew deal memos

- Managing appearance, location, and material releases

- Keeping track of receipts, POs, and invoices for projects

- Making sure people have correctly submitted their invoices

- Taking meeting notes during weekly production meetings

- Booking locations and assisting with managing our studio space

- Archiving/logging of video project files on our server

Candidate must-haves: 

- Enthusiasm for and working knowledge of the Brew’s key content areas (business, work life, money) 

- Understanding of various organizational platforms like Monday etc 

- Outstanding communication, collaboration and organizational skills

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in digital video production
