Production Foreman - Mine (3rd shift)

Job Title: 3rd Shift Mine Production Foreman

Role & Responsibilities:

• Daily leadership and oversight of a mine production shift.
• Accountable for maintaining high levels of shift safety performance.
• Responsible for monitoring day to day process activity so as to achieve assigned cost, production efficiency, and quality goals.
• Collaboration with other plant departments to ensure optimum coordination of activities.
• Training and development of competent employees to ensure appropriate depth and proficiency of operator skills
• Foster engagement within the team. Facilitate formal and informal coaching sessions to support direct and indirect training of operating crew.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven mine production experience in a supervisory capacity including a working knowledge of the process.
• Safety-first mentality.
• Thorough understanding of the mine operation and equipment needed to optimize performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to coach employees to improved levels of performance.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proficient in required computer-based applications and diligent oversight of assigned administrative and record-keeping tasks.
• Takes initiative to make continuous improvements.
• Must have or be able to obtain ATF employee possessor clearance.
• Base knowledge of MSHA regulations.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
