This position is responsible for leading the operational aspects of field shoots for projects across all TOUR content teams including Original, Social, Digital, International, Branded, Long Form, Client, Commercial, PGA TOUR Pathways, PGA TOUR Champions, etc. The responsibilities include booking crew, contractors, vendors, locations, and talent; processing/coding invoices, timecards, and other expenses; coordinating weekly tournament needs and communicating relevant shoot information to production staff and freelancers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum five years of logistics/operational experience in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of field production, crewing, logistics and operations – preferably in golf or sports
Understanding of various camera, audio, grip and lighting equipment
Self-starter with proven ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively and work in team environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and SAP Concur
CPR/AED and Lithium-Ion Small Batteries (shipping) certified. PGA TOUR, Inc. will facilitate certifications if needed
Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Identify, negotiate and book crew, contractors, equipment and travel for assigned shoots in collaboration with content leads
Facilitate onboarding, timecard submittal/approval/coding, etc. processes for contractors hired through third-party payroll service
Oversee execution of necessary agreements (vendor, independent contractor, location, equipment, etc.) with Legal, and invoice coding and payment process with Accounts Payable
Coordinate tournament logistics including media center seats, golf carts, parking, credentialing, equipment storage, etc. through Tournament Directors and Media Officials
Reconcile production expenses (contractor travel) on corporate card through SAP Concur in accordance with policy and company timelines
Generate and distribute production books to communicate pertinent shoot information to crews, vendors and production staff
Ensure compliance with company drone policies for contractors flying unmanned aircrafts
Coordinate insurance needs through Risk Management for any vendor, contractor, location, etc.
Establish database of freelance crew in markets in which the TOUR has events
Special projects or other duties as assigned
