Production Operations Specialist

MRM is seeking a Production Operations Specialist to join our Integrated Production team. We are looking for someone to manage various project aspects for some of our most exciting and challenging data and production initiatives that will provide an opportunity to master skills required to advance to the next level in production.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Operations who fosters a collaborative working environment and can manage multiple production project schedules and responsibilities. They will have effective communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, decision-making skills and be curious by nature to be successful in this role. Candidates will be expected to confidently manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment critical to ensuring operational success and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a master production schedule that combines weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables for multiple production projects to help identify “crunch times”, organize daily priorities and ensure data, content and production tasks are completed as smoothly as possible
  • Attend and document project status meetings informing all team members of changes in direction and/or new developments.
  • Collaborate with account and creative teams to gather requirements needed to create list pull requests and production estimates
  • Coordinate delivery of postage checks to suppliers
  • Confirm the delivery of data and creative files to suppliers
  • Review and validate data file count reports
  • Set up and maintain production change order request sheets to track programming changes and data proof feedback for development and live direct mail projects using Smartsheet or other project management tools
  • Download and validate PDF data proofs and post them in shared folders. Manage shared library of validated PDF data proofs
  • Collect data proof feedback from project teams
  • Prepare, maintain, and revise direct mail production instructions when necessary
  • Provide account teams with mail drop confirmation for direct mail projects
  • Support Print Producer and communicate instructions with account team and vendors
  • Adhere to and communicate Production tasks and communicate optimum timelines between account and production teams
  • Coordinate Production schedules and tasks between multiple simultaneous Direct Mail/Email/SMS/Robocall campaigns.
  • May include other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience:

  • Can handle juggling multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Willingness to take initiative, contribute ideas and follow through on assigned task work
  • Comfortable creating process and procedures where none may yet exist
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • 1 – 3 years’ related work experience
  • Familiar with JIRA
  • Knowledge of direct mail and email production process a plus
  • Desired Skills: Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet
