Production Operator - Carton Assembler

The Production Operator is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for observing production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments. The Production Operator should have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good interpersonal skills
• Be highly safety conscious

The Production Operator will:

• Monitor the controls to ensure the palletizer machines continue to operate effectively
• Clear any jams that impede the production line
• Inspects cartons and bottles for any obvious defects
• Minor maintenance to ensure the palletizers are working smoothly
• Rotate/transfer among departments as directed

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime, as required
• Able to work in a team environment
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus

Hourly Wage: The hourly wage for this position is $24.63
