Shift Information:
This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Training will be on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
This position will be trained in the Westbrook facility and then transfer to the newly constructed facility in Scarborough by or before October 2023.
In This Role
Perform a variety of production / manufacturing tasks in support of the day-to-day operations in one or more production / manufacturing work-centers.
Perform a variety of basic manufacturing tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of one or more manufacturing work-centers. May work with lab equipment, solutions and reagents.
Responsible for tasks in one or more work-centers. Cross-train in other work-centers.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Record information in Product Documentation in "real time".
Read and follow documentation, SOP’s, Work Instructions and equipment manuals. Follow all safety requirements.
Assist or complete all set-up operation, clean-up, and/or change-over for manufacturing equipment in the work center.
Perform monthly Safety and Process Audits if applicable.
May provide production & process training to other employees or temporary employees.
Assist in routine problem solving and troubleshooting of equipment.
Requires moderate skills with a high level of proficiency.
Complete assignments under general supervision, solves problems as part of a team and assumes responsibility as appropriate.

Ability to work both individually and as a team player.
PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Extensive sitting, phone and computer use.
Capable of standing continuously for up to 2 hours.
Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch.
May be required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Hearing acuity sufficient to effectively communicate with customers and Employees via telephone and in person.
Ability to communicate verbally on phone and in person.
Fluency in the English language.
Extended hours may be required.

TPM, LEAN, 5S, SPC, Kanban, Visual Factory, Line Loss Analysis
