The Production Supervisor supervises all shift employees and complies with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift. Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. Reports any process and equipment problems. Calls the Maintenance Supervisor on evenings and weekends for assistance with problems. Organizes work for smooth operations. Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed. Verifies correct identification, weights, and warehousing of products. Distributes plant status reports to the next-shift Supervisor and Department Manager. Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift. Completes production reporting. Troubleshoots problems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Requires overall knowledge of instruments, dryers, centrifuges, filters, pumps, forklifts, steam baths, temperature recorders, scales, banding machines, standard test equipment, and plant processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5-10 years Industrial Supervision

Salary: Starting at $70k depending on experience
