Production Supervisor - Hondo, TX - 1st Shift

As Production Supervisor, you would plan, organize, and supervise a team of manufacturing associates within a designated manufacturing facility. You would be responsible for assigned team’s performance measures to achieve operational goals (Safety, Quality, Schedule Attainment, Delivery, Productivity).

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

JOB DUTIES

• Ensures production output targets for team are met.

• Ensures that Product Launch objectives of the assigned team are met

• Responsible for assigned technicians’ and section leaders’ work for safety, quality, and productivity.

• Responsible for assigned Manufacturing Technician and Section Leader evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, etc.

• Participates in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) program and partners with other department leaders in developing recommended actions.

• Develops subject matter (process and equipment) experts within the team.

• Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of applicable experience in manufacturing, management or relevant technical experience.
• 2 years’ previous leadership responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel.
• Prior Oracle or other ERP Database experience.
