Production Supervisor, Labeling

HelloFresh's newly acquired "Ready-to-Eat'' brand "Factor", is looking for a Production Supervisor for the labeling department to oversee the labeling value stream including delivery, quality, inventory management, and people leadership. This role will maintain production schedules, staffing schedules, champion the label approval process, and oversee resolution of technical issues. Responsibilities may also include inventory analysis, constraint problem solving, and upstream and downstream interdepartmental communication. The ideal leader will identify ways to improve labeling planning and execution processes as well.

Position Responsibilities

• Organize team member schedules to ensure staffing to production needs

• Manage the labeling production schedule to meet production needs and minimize downtime

• Manage raw and finished goods label inventory to ensure no shortages upstream or downstream

• Provide immediate resolution to technical issues through communication with the maintenance department

• Liaise with the equipment vendor to improve preventative maintenance, spare parts and difficult fixes

• Develop and implement process improvements with cross functional team members to improve delivery, reduce cost, or improve quality

Qualifications And Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field with 3-5 years relevant experience in operations and operations leadership roles

• Food and Beverage manufacturing industry experience preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time required

• APICS or CPIM certification a plus

• Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets
