Description:

What you’ll do:

The Production/Materials Assistant is responsible for purchasing and overall transportation of raw materials, finished goods and other supplies as required for the Solenis, Greensboro, NC plant as well as support operations at outside warehouses In addition to working directly with plant personnel, this person will work daily with R&D, Corporate Purchasing and Corporate Logistics groups, as well as other functions as required. This person must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure work environment. This position will report to the Supervisor of Plant Administration and Warehouse.

Qualifications:

Education & Training: Minimum of AAS Degree or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in field.

Quality: The Production/Materials Assistant contributes to the quality effort by ensuring that all items purchased meet our specifications and are shipped to our location in a timely manner.

Training: Routinely attend safety meetings to review Ashland safety training films on compliance kits. Complete all other Solenis training as required by Manager.
