Why this Role Exists
The Commercial Operations Analyst will serve as a key member of the commercial process, overseeing the collection, storage, and organization of site data. This role will maintain the site and company historical data to help inform and direct the feasibility and budgeting processes. This position provides input and data to inform strategy and the ongoing innovation of departmental processes across the commercial team.
Responsibilities
· Develops collaborative relationships with internal departments to collect and organization site and personnel data
· Support Patient and Site Feasibility Manager to coordinate outreach and communicate with investigative sites to obtain indication and protocol-specific feedback.
· Maintain and update study files and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
· Work on the development and creation of Profound Research Site Budgets
· Assist in the timely and accurate completion of Site Feasibility Questionnaires
· Works internally to identify potential risks and out of scope activity in the feasibility and budget process
Requirements
· Previous clinical research experience with a preferred background in feasibility or in the creation and management of site budgets
· Must have 1 year of relevant experience in drug development and in conducting at least one of the following: pre-award feasibility, post-award site identification / site selection / site budgets.
· 1 year of experience using CRMs such as SalesForce
· Creation and management of centralized database
Preferred Qualifications
· Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, exercise sound judgement and raise issues when necessary
· Understanding of site feasibility processes
· Understanding of site budget creation and management.
· Strong computer skills
Travel Requirements
· Ability to travel up to 20% of the year is required in this position.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing and walking.
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
· Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
· Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
· Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
· The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
