Role: Sr. Patient Recruitment Marketing Specialist

Why this Role Exists
Responsible for creating marketing materials, supporting advertising strategies and campaigns for patient recruitment. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer directly and in collaboration with Chief Executive Officer, this cross functional role works extensively with various departments to enhance patient care and drive technological advancements. This role supports the cultivation of deep expertise in therapeutic indications to develop efficient recruitment, marketing, and advertising strategies.
Responsibilities
● Designs comprehensive marketing materials for use in patient recruitment for the company and its network of sites, including but not limited to:
○ Programmatic, audio streaming, social media, search engine, print, CTV/OTT, flyers, brochures, etc.
● Works with Digital Marketing on creation and reporting of vanity URLs, QR codes, and tracked phone numbers for all digital and traditional patient marketing.
● Creation and management of campaigns in Clinical Conductor.
● Executes and manages sponsor and IRB submissions for all marketing materials.
● Supports the Regulatory team for sponsor and IRB communication related to marketing material approvals and needs.
● Supports and communicates needs for sponsor budgets to fund patient recruitment and advertising strategies for difficult to enroll studies and indications.
● Supports the Commercial Marketing Manager for branding and site content coordination and creation.
● Manages any site or study content supported by the Marketing Coordinator for patient recruitment with an organic marketing strategy and campaign calendar creation, including social and email initiatives.
● Manages patient recruitment website content creation, approvals, and processes.
● Supports the Senior Commercial Marketing Manager for any brand/BD site content needs.
● Oversees all patient recruitment content creation, scheduling, and reporting of organic social marketing initiatives for the Marketing Coordinator.
● Oversees the distribution and creation of patient recruitment content needs for recruitment vendors.
● Completes digital marketing operational requirements and project management by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
● Develops and supports the marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying target customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
● Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and metrics.
● Identifies trends and insights, optimizes spend and performance based on the insights. Brainstorms new creative growth strategies through all forms of business and patient marketing.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
● Strong background in advertising and design with experience in identifying target audiences through engaging advertising campaigns.
● Experience creating and maintaining internal and vendor relationships with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
● Experience with creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns from start to finish for multi-site clinical trials including traditional and paid marketing.
● Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proficient in marketing research and analytics.
● Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage processes, high dollar budgets, and financial strategies specific to clinical trials.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
● 3-5 years of work experience in digital and traditional marketing, preferably within the healthcare or clinical research industries.
● Knowledge of medical and clinical research terminology.
● Proficient in platforms including but not limited to: Clinical Conductor, Devana, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), Constant Contact, MailChimp (Email Service Provider) Meta Business Manager, HubSpot, Monday, Social Pilot, SharePoint, Outlook, Salesforce, Google Analytics & GA4, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Travel Requirements
