SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator, under the direction of the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, plans, organizes, manages day-to-day activities and adminstrative duties for the Men’s Basketball program.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (15 or less):

Plan, organize, coordinate day-to-day activities and administrative duties for the Men’s Basketball program

Plan and coordinate all team travel activities including hotels, buses, plans, meals, and practice times

Assist in building a competitive competition schedule

Maintain continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establish and ensure communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concern student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality and other areas deemed appropriate.

Correspond with athletic ticket office for all team needs concerning tickets for home and away contest and recruiting tickets

Communicate with business office on all team purchases and assist head coach in monitoring program budget

Collaborate with Athletic External Operations department on donor relations and events
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
-
Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two years of experience working with men’s basketball at a collegiate level
-
Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.
-
Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally move approximately 50 pounds
-
Other Requirements: Experience with Sports Code and Synergy
PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
General Basketball Knowledge
Four (4) years of experience working with men’s basketball at the collegiate level

Managers of the Men’s Basketball program
