About this Opportunity

The Head of Enterprise PMO Governance & Operations is responsible for ensuring that all initiatives and projects within the portfolio are planned, managed and governed in a consistent, transparent and disciplined manner with a focus on high quality execution and management reporting. The individual will build and lead a portfolio governance function accountable for managing and maintaining standards pertaining to reporting and metrics, the aggregation of risks and issues, roadmaps and forecasting and analytics. You'll enjoy having capacity to flex between the strategic and the tactical. Capitalize on having outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


What You'll Do


  • Builds an agile PMO organization, hiring and managing staffing requirements in line with project and program objectives
  • Implements an enhanced portfolio management structure; establish processes, policies, and procedures for maintaining proactive portfolio management oversight, escalation paths and decision-making support throughout the entire initiative life cycle
  • Builds and maintains strong internal cross-functional relationships to ensure delivery of quality products in alignment with key initiatives and requirements across the enterprise
  • Develops and continuously improves portfolio management methodologies, standards, reporting and tools in coordination with the DTCC Technology organization and DTCC’s Enterprise Agile Center of Excellence
  • Defines and executes on internal communication plans in conjunction with Marketing & Communications team
  • Manages the risk, issue and change resolution process, and works with other leaders to take corrective action as needed
  • Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring for team members; develops a matrix-reporting performance measurement framework for the team
  • Defines key success indicators needed for strategic and operational alignment
  • Ensures EPMO methodologies, standards and processes adhere to DTCC policies, procedures and best practices
  • Leads and facilitates meetings at all levels of the organization to ensure cross alignment to corporate strategy and to manage execution of plans to meet objectives
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated team building and leadership skills


Sound Like You?

  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience


Additional Qualifications

  • Expertise in program management for large scale, multi-year transformation efforts
  • Experience working with Agile (scrum) delivery processes
  • Able to work across functional and hierarchical boundaries to influence, discover and lead change
