Reporting to the Senior Director, Data Engineering, the Program Manager provides executive level program leadership for our Provider Data Management group. In doing so, the Program Manager works with all levels of management, on large scale, cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiencies and process improvement.

To be qualified for this position you:
  • 10 or more years in Technology Program or Project Management
  • Experience leading Innovation Projects
  • Experience managing medium and large-scale technology programs or projects
  • Experience working with the Agile and SAFE methodology a plus
  • Two (2) plus years of healthcare industry and/or product management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable job experience
  • Must be able to work through ambiguity in an ever-changing environment
  • Must have experience identifying interdependencies and be able to reconcile them across the organization
  • Should be comfortable leading by influence as this role does not have direct reports, but will need to partner with Availity associates to get the work done
  • Possess strong written and communication skills
You will set yourself apart with:
  • Project or Program Management Professional certification (PMP or PgMP)
  • Experience working in Jira
  • Hardware industry experience
You will be:
  • Managing the daily program management throughout the program life cycle
  • Defining the program governance (controls)
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects
  • Managing stakeholders’ communication
  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business team
  • Managing the main program documentations
  • Ensuring the program outcome is aligned to senior leadership vision and goals
  • Ensuring continuous improvement in project management practices and standards to achieve desired results aligned to program outcomes
  • Setting quality control standards and tracking implementation
  • Setting and tracking change control procedures
  • Strategic overview and reporting on all programs to senior management
